Getting Here

The wooded island in Stone Mountain Lake that the Indian Island lot sits on, beside the covered bridge; most of these walks start in that lot. Water surrounds it, so the frames from its shore look out across the lake: east toward the sunrise and west to the mountain.

Start from the Indian Island lot beside the covered bridge. A park parking pass is required. The fee and the gate hours are on the trail page.
